Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor
Lori is credentialed as a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC), and offers care that is distinctively Christian and clinically excellent. Counselors applying for this certification are given careful consideration in the following areas: personal integrity, advanced education in biblical principles, the counselors own spiritual journey and walk with Jesus Christ , their beliefs about the Bible, and their clinical theory and skills.
Maryland L.C.S.W.-C
The State of Maryland offers 4 levels of licesure, and Lori holds the most advanced, LCSW-C license. To qualify for the LCSW-C applicants must pass an examination and undergo 2 years of clinical practice supervision. In addition, LCSW-C practitioners must complete 42 continuing education credits every 2 years. Lori received her LCSW-C in 2001. Lori is also recognized by the Maryland Department of Health as a Board Approved Supervisor.
American Association of Christian Counselors
Lori is a member in good standing of American Association of Christian Counselors. The AACC is an organization that supports and encourages counselors to be practical, biblically- based, and clinically excellent.
