Haley Parkinson Is an individual and couples counseling intern. She is currently enrolled at Liberty University and is expected to graduate in December of 2024 with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In 2022, she graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelors in Psychology. 
 

Since 2017, Haley has been a certified pharmacy technician, most recently working at Shepherdstown Pharmacy. She expresses her appreciation of working in a pharmacy as it has provided her with knowledge of medications used in the mental health field.
 

Haley has previous counseling experience from her undergrad internship from
Shepherd University. She has worked with a variety of different ages such as high
school aged adolescents, college students, young adults, and middle-aged clients.
Haley’s drive to help others stems from her immediate familial role models who are counselors, social workers, and community advocators. 
Growing up in a loving, Christian home and attending a private Christian school shaped Haley as a person, and her goal is to intertwine her faith and relationship with God with her professional skills as a counselor.
 
As an intern at Frederick Christian Counseling, she is looking forward to being a part of her client’s journey in an influential and positive way as they walk with the Lord.
